Zo kan je, je 2 CPU's allebei tegelijk opzetten zonder dat ie eerst zwaar belast moet worden.
***OP EIGEN RISICO***
How to enable the 2 cpu's on a dual core
1. start / run /cmd / ok 2. cd \ 3. mkdir hal 4. cd hal 5. copy C:\WINDOWS\Driver Cache\i386\ntkrnlmp.exe c:\hal 6. copy C:\i386\HALMACPI.DL_ c:\hal 7. expand c:\hal\ntkrnlmp.exe ntkrnlmp.exe 8. expand c:\hal\HALMACPI.DL_ halmacpi.dll 9. copy ntkrnlmp.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32 10. copy halmacpi.dll C:\WINDOWS\system32\ 11. start / run /notepad / ok 12. open c:\boot.ini 13: Edited the boot.ini file by adding the following line
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="XP Professional MP" /fastdetect /kernel=ntkrnlmp.exe /hal=halmacpi.dll
14. reboot
After rebooting the PC windows found new hardware, installed it and prompted for reboot. Once the second reboot was done my system was running on both cores and the increase in performance was huge...
If you open taskmanager you can see now the history of both cpu's, and assign a program to core 1 / 2/ or both
